To the Coast and Back...

Yesterday we went to the coast of Oregon. First we stopped by the Tillamook Cheese Factory in Tillamook. There are free cheese samples and you get to see how its all made. The self guided tour ends with a stop at the ol ice cream stand and obligatory gift shop. I snagged some cheese curds, but here they call it squeaky cheese.

We then set out to find some lunch, but made a quick stop at this jetty. Beautiful views with huge pieces of driftwood.

 After that we stopped at a little tourist trap and they had a working ZOLTAR inside. Was I in the movie "BIG"? I think so. They had all sorts of campy shit in there, sort of like an Indian Village type of store.

 Then we eyed a small little fresh seafood restuarnt in Manzanita. I had the Salmon fish and chips with a side of hush puppies. Delicious as hell.

One final stop at Cannon Beach and we would be wiped out for the day. All in all it was a relaxing and fun trip well worth the days sunlight.
