LightStone Project ...

Stumbled across this awesome ID project this morning. It's called LIGHTSTONE and it is a new foamed basalt-like material. It is super original in the fact that it is lightweight, provides acoustic isolation and high thermal resistance. More so, it can be integrated with ceramic bodies when fired in a kiln. The shape and feel mimic the  likeness of basalt as it preserves the memory of lava's movement. This is some really cool stuff (great for planters) and more of it can be seen @
