I got to see MOGWAI for the 4th time last night. This is the Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will (2011) TOUR. Man, those songs rocked. George Square Thatcher Death Party was amazing live, but as always ... Helicon 1 stole the show. It's just so god damn mesmerizing. I was really stoked this time because people were super into it and you could tell Stuart was digging on it. He thanked the crowd multiple times because they just had come from SALT LAKE CITY ... lol. The drummer from ERRORS filled in for MOGWAI, and you could tell. But he still did a smashing job for such short notice. And ERRORS, wow. I have been waiting to see them for 5 years now and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I danced mah ass off all alone. It's sucks that no one I know listens to the same style of music as I do (in PDX)... oh well, my time will come.
