Wednesday night Daniel and I went to Ikea. I was in the market for a new bed so I picked up a pretty nice one.
I bought my old bed from Emerson when I first moved to Portland and have had an old flimsy futon mattress for the last 4 years. The bed was a Ricky Ponting jobber from Ikea but was just well played. So I replaced it with a nice new queen bed.
Friday, I found a queen mattress and box spring on Craigslist for $50 so after work with the help of Daniel I went to pick that up. It was in great condition and it was a queen size pillow top and its comfy. Such a good upgrade from that old springy futon mattress. Then I took Daniel to namaste for helping me for dinner.
Today, Saturday, I spent two hours or more putting together that new bed... now I'm at some bar called the sports page in Beaverton and later on we're going to head downtown to watch the Pacman fight.
